In her mid twenties Cathe Physioc retired from the fashion industry and made her living doing ‘odd jobs’. Acting in television commercials, winning cash and prizes on game shows, exhibiting in weekend art fairs, creating an art series for auction and producing her own line of greeting cards kept her busy and solvent. She would then become the in-house artist/art director for several multi-media companies and manufacturers, deciding this was the career for her.
An award-winning artist in Los Angeles, Cathe has illustrated for Disney, Playboy Enterprises and everything in between. She has worked as a conceptual artist, a designer and an art director for manufacturers, publishers, media and advertising companies for more years than she would like to mention. In 2001, she partnered to create ‘Phizzies’, a nationally distributed social stationery company.
Cathe’s fine art is displayed in galleries and private collections throughout North America. She currently works from her studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Since moving to Santa Fe in 2008, she has added the medium of photography to her resume and has created mixed media ‘regional portfolios’ for commercial and residential interiors.
Her background in art and design combined with a passion for collecting have established Cathe as a respected art consultant and buyer for an impressive list of clients.
